Available in six trim levels, the 2012 Nissan Sentra easily adapts to a variety of automotive needs. The Sentra 2.0 is equipped standard with a 6-speed manual transmission but is available with the same Xtronic CVT® (Continuously Variable Transmission) that is found in the other 2.0 models. Two other transmission options exist but are exclusively available on the SE-R and SE-R Spec V trim levels. When paired with the CVT, each 2.0 trim averages 27mpg in the city and 34mpg on the highway – which is great news for Boston Nissan drivers.

An AM/FM/CD audio system is standard on the first three trim levels but an upgraded Premium audio system with 4.3" color display can be found on the upper three. Standard safety features include the Nissan Advanced Air Bag System (AABS) with dual-stage supplemental front air bags with seat belt and occupant classification sensors, driver and front-passenger seat-mounted side-impact supplemental air bags, roof-mounted curtain side impact supplemental air bags for front and rear-seat outboard occupant head protection, and front seat active head restraints. Vehicle Dynamic Control (VDC) with Traction Control System (TCS) is also standard.
